Therapy Intensives in Castle Rock, CO

Ready to stop circling and actually get somewhere? Some things need more than 50 minutes a week to move. Our therapy intensives for individuals and couples give you the concentrated time and space to go deeper and come out the other side.

You already know what is keeping you stuck. The insight is there. You have done the work. And yet something keeps pulling you back to the same place, the same patterns, the same distance, the same fear.

Weekly therapy is valuable. We believe in it. But for some people, and some seasons of life, the momentum gets lost between sessions. The window is too narrow. The work never quite has room to land.

That is what therapy intensives are for.

What Are Therapy Intensives

An intensive is not just longer sessions. It is a carefully designed experience built around how your nervous system actually heals with enough time to go deep, built-in space to integrate, and a structure that supports real, lasting change.

Our intensives take place across one focused week. You will work with your therapist in extended sessions, with intentional breaks built in between: time to walk, reflect, and let the work settle before going back in. It is a rhythm that makes a different level of depth possible.

We offer therapy intensives for both individuals and couples in-person in Castle Rock and online across Colorado.

Who Therapy Intensives Are For

An intensive might be the right fit for you if:

  • You have been in therapy and feel like you have plateaued. The insight is there, but something is not moving
  • You want to work through something specific: a trauma, a relationship pattern, a pivotal life transition
  • Your schedule does not allow for consistent weekly sessions, but you can carve out one focused week
  • Every session seems to end right when it gets real
  • You are ready to go deeper, and you want a container big enough to hold it

Intensives work best when you arrive with something specific you want to move through and genuine readiness to do that work.

Intensives For Couples

If you and your partner keep finding yourselves in the same argument, the same distance, the same impasse, a couples intensive gives you dedicated time to go after the root of it together.

Both of you are seen. Both of you are heard. And the relational pattern that has been running the show finally has room to shift.

Our couples intensives follow the same structure: extended sessions across one week, with intentional breaks for individual reflection between sessions. We have found that the time apart during the break is just as important as the time in the room together.

How Therapy Intensives Work

Step 1: Consultation and Preparation

We start with an intake session to get clear on what you want to move through, make sure the format is a good fit, and prepare you for the week ahead. You will receive a client workbook to use before, during, and between sessions.

Step 2: The Intensive Week

Your sessions take place across one week, with rest and integration time built in between days. The structure is intentional. Your therapist designs the experience around you.

Step 3: Follow-Up

About a week or two after your intensive, we meet again to anchor what shifted and decide together what comes next.

Investment

Our therapy intensives are offered as a complete package, intake, intensive sessions, and follow-up, so you know exactly what you are committing to.

Packages are priced between $880 and $1,000, depending on your therapist and the specific format that is right for you. During your consultation, your therapist will walk you through the details and help you determine what fits your situation best.

Intensives are self-pay and not billed through insurance. Some clients use HSA or FSA funds.

FAQS

 Common Questions

No. Some people come to us specifically for an intensive. The intake session is how we figure out together whether the format is a good fit for where you are right now.

The breaks are built in on purpose. A walk, a quiet lunch, some journaling time. Your therapist will offer a prompt or reflection to carry with you. The break is not filler—it is part of how the work settles before you go back in.

It depends on what “really hard” means. Couples intensives are a good fit for stuck patterns, specific ruptures, and wanting to go deeper together. We talk through whether the timing is right during your consultation—that conversation matters, and we take it seriously.

We give you tools for exactly that. Your workbook is there to capture what surfaces overnight or between days. Often, what comes up in that space between sessions becomes the most important material of the whole week.
