In-person and Online Therapist in Castle Rock, CO

Therapy Specialties:

Hi, I’m Caroline! I have a particular heart for teens and young adults navigating questions of identity, sexuality, and faith or spirituality. I aim to create space for honest conversation, curiosity, and big questions—without pressure or judgment.

Have you been feeling alone, overwhelmed, or misunderstood? Maybe you’re carrying things you don’t know how—or where—to talk about. You might feel disconnected in your relationships or worry that no matter how hard you try, things won’t really change.

When life feels heavy, we all need safe, trusted relationships to help us make sense of what we’re experiencing. You don’t have to navigate this season on your own. In therapy, my role is to offer a steady, supportive space where you feel seen and heard—while helping you better understand yourself, grow with confidence, and build meaningful, life-giving connections beyond the therapy room.

How I Can Help You

In our work together, my approach is centered on helping you feel safe, heard, and understood—because meaningful change begins there.

Rather than trying to “fix” you, I come alongside you—in your corner—as we explore hard stories, ask meaningful questions, and notice patterns that may be holding you back. Together, we work toward clarity, hope, and new possibilities for growth in both your inner world and your relationships. My goal is to help you better understand yourself so you can move forward with confidence and intention.

I bring a steady, supportive presence that allows you to slow down, make sense of your emotions, and understand how your story, experiences, and symptoms are connected.

What I Love About Being a Therapist

What I love most about therapy is helping create a space where you feel safe enough to be fully yourself—without fear, pressure, or having to perform. When people feel truly seen and understood, healing becomes possible.

It’s incredibly meaningful to walk alongside clients as they heal from past pain, reconnect with joy in the present, and experience deeper, more secure relationships. Watching someone begin to trust themselves, share their story, and show up more fully in their life is a powerful process. I consider it a privilege to help create an environment where that kind of growth and connection can unfold.

How I See Myself as a Therapist

I see myself as a warm, compassionate guide who moves at your pace and centers your needs and goals. Our work together is client-directed, meaning we focus on what feels most important to you in each season.

I strive to be a steady, attentive listener who welcomes hard questions, complex emotions, and difficult stories with care and respect.

Rather than positioning myself as the expert on your life, I come alongside you as a hopeful collaborator—supporting you as you gain clarity, build resilience, and take meaningful steps forward.

What Makes Me Unique as a Therapist?

What sets my work apart is an attachment-focused approach that sees the therapeutic relationship itself as a meaningful place for healing. As we build trust together, real-time growth can happen—helping you experience safer, more secure connection both in and outside of therapy.

My experience living cross-culturally and working in para-church ministry has also shaped how I show up with compassion and understanding, especially for those walking through disorienting transitions or seasons of change.

Education and Professional Background

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) with a trauma-informed, client-centered approach to therapy. My work is grounded in a psychodynamic perspective—often described as “looking back in order to move forward”—and integrates narrative therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you understand how past experiences continue to shape your present.

I have completed EMDR training and am able to incorporate EMDR as part of trauma-focused work when appropriate, always with careful attention to pacing, safety, and your readiness. My goal is to offer thoughtful, integrative care that honors your story while helping you move toward greater clarity, healing, and wholeness.

What My Clients Say

Clients have shared that working together feels like having someone truly in their corner—someone who listens, advocates for them, and walks alongside them with care. Many say they feel comfortable opening up more quickly than they expected, even if trust usually takes time for them.

They’ve also reflected feeling deeply understood and validated in their experiences, which helps them feel less alone and more confident as they navigate challenges and growth.

Hobbies & Fun Facts

Outside of therapy, I enjoy riding my bike, cooking something new, exploring creative outlets, and spending time with friends over a good board game.

I have a lifelong love of stories, especially “kids against the world” adventures. Books like Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, and Narnia continue to shape how I think about courage, resilience, and growth.

Music has always been a meaningful outlet for me. I love listening to music, playing guitar, singing, and writing music or poetry when inspiration strikes.
