Dawn Gabriel, MA, LPC

Hi, I’m Dawn! I balance my roles as a 11-year group practice owner and a 20-year seasoned therapist while laughing loudly and loving deeply.

With 20 years of diverse experience in the clinical mental health field, I’ve worked in various settings, including college campuses, county jails, psychiatric hospitals, teen residential homes, and wilderness therapy. While I no longer see clients, I now focus on managing the day-to-day operations of the counseling center and supporting my awesome team of therapists.

I’m also deeply rooted in the Castle Rock community. I serve as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors for the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce and founded Castle Rock Therapist Connection, a monthly networking group for local clinicians. That local involvement is part of why I love working with community organizations, not just therapists.

I’m also dedicated to helping fellow therapists nationwide engage in soul care, prevent burnout, and stay grounded in the work long term. I offer CE trainings, speaking engagements, webinars, and therapist intensives that go beyond the clinical, because the best professional development touches the whole person doing the work.

Mental Health & Faith

A workshop series for church leaders, staff, and parents that brings clinical understanding and spiritual grounding into the same room. Led by me from the lens of a licensed therapist and trained spiritual director, these are honest, practical conversations, not motivational talks.

Four talks, each standing on its own: anxiety and depression through a clinical and spiritual lens, teen mental health and warning signs, soul care for ministry leaders, and trauma-informed ministry.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and trained Spiritual Director, and I currently serve as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors at the Castle Rock Chamber.
