Therapy Specialties:

Hi, I’m Erica! I work with kids, teens, and adults who are feeling weighed down by trauma, stress, or a sense of being lost in who they are or “should” be.

If you’ve been carrying pain, confusion, or overwhelm for too long, I want you to know: you don’t have to face it alone. Using evidence-based approaches like EMDR, along with deep empathy and compassion, I help clients process their thoughts, feelings, and experiences so they can rediscover a stronger, more grounded sense of self.

How I Can Help You

I have a particular passion for working with teens navigating the intense years of identity formation, changing relationships, and emotional growth. Together, we create a space where they can feel safe to explore who they are and build confidence in their own voice.

For those who have experienced trauma or triggering life events, I use EMDR to help process and release the emotional weight of the past—so life feels less reactive and more peaceful.

And for families with young children, I bring both professional training and personal experience as a mom. I help parents and kids strengthen emotional awareness, build coping skills, and learn what healthy regulation and connection can look like at home.

You can expect a space where you’ll be heard, validated, and supported every step of the way.

What I Love About Being a Therapist

The most meaningful part of my work is walking alongside clients as they grow into deeper self-understanding and healing.

I love watching teens discover confidence they didn’t know they had, helping individuals loosen the hold of past pain, and witnessing families transform as they learn to connect through compassion and communication.

There’s nothing more powerful than seeing someone move from surviving to truly thriving.

How I See Myself as a Therapist

I believe therapy works best when it’s collaborative.

My approach is client-centered and guided by your needs, not a one-size-fits-all model. I see my role as a partner in your journey—someone who listens deeply, challenges gently, and supports you as you move toward growth and clarity.

What Makes Me Unique as a Therapist?

I integrate EMDR not only for trauma work but also for developing creative and practical coping tools that support emotional balance and resilience.

I also bring the power of play and creativity into sessions—whether that’s play therapy with children, expressive activities with teens, or sand tray work with adults. These tools help clients visualize and process emotions in ways that feel natural and safe.

I believe healing doesn’t always have to be heavy—it can also be expressive, curious, and even playful.

What My Clients Say

Clients often share that they feel an immediate sense of connection and trust in our work together. They appreciate my balance of empathy and insight, as well as my ability to gently challenge them to see new perspectives.

Their words remind me every day why I love this work—because healing begins when someone truly feels seen, heard, and supported.

Hobbies & Fun Facts

When I’m not in the therapy room, you’ll find me reading, baking, or spending time with my son and family cheering on our favorite sports teams.

I was an Irish step dancer for 13 years. These days, I love sports that keep me active and outdoors—especially water skiing and snowboarding.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent 8 years as a flight attendant—a journey that taught me how to stay calm and grounded no matter what life throws my way.
