Hi, I’m Marlon! I work with teens, adults, and couples. My goal is to help you gain clarity, build skills that actually work in your daily life, and move toward change that lasts.
Do you feel pressured by everyone’s expectations, including your own? Maybe you feel unseen, misunderstood, or constantly questioning your worth. You might feel disconnected from yourself or the people closest to you, while your own needs keep slipping to the bottom of the list.
Whether you’re walking through a painful season or simply feel stuck, life can start to feel heavier than it should. Deep down, you want to feel like yourself again and live with more peace and purpose. You don’t have to find your way there alone.
How I Can Help You
I know how hard it can be to reach out, and I don’t take that step lightly. When we work together, I begin by creating a safe, respectful space where you can speak freely and truly feel heard.
From there, we’ll make sense of what you’re feeling, notice the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and find practical ways to cope with what’s happening right now.
As you’re ready, we can also look beneath the surface to understand what’s really driving the struggle, including the experiences and beliefs that have shaped how you see yourself and others.
What I Love About Being a Therapist
I value the opportunity to journey with clients toward healing and restoration. It is meaningful to help create an environment where new insights can emerge, hope can grow, and clients can begin relating to themselves and others in healthier ways.
I am especially passionate about helping people pursue lasting relief by addressing root causes rather than focusing only on symptoms.
How I See Myself as a Therapist
I see therapy as a partnership. You bring your own story, values, and strengths, and I bring clinical training, genuine curiosity, and practical tools to support you along the way.
When structure is helpful, I can offer a clear plan for our work, but you’ll always set the pace and direction.
For clients who would like faith to be part of counseling, I’m glad to integrate a Christian perspective into our sessions. That choice is always yours, and we’ll only bring faith into the conversation in the ways that feel right to you.
What Makes Me Unique as a Therapist?
What sets my work apart is that no two clients get the same plan. I’m passionate about evidence-based care, and I draw from several approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral, Solution-Focused, Person-Centered, and Existential therapy, along with Christian counseling for those who want it. I also enjoy working with couples who want to strengthen their connection.
This blend allows us to balance insight with practical action. Rather than only talking about what’s wrong, we’ll build on what’s already strong in you and focus on changes you can actually feel in your everyday life.
Hobbies & Fun Facts
You’ll often find me traveling, catching a good movie, or trying something new. But these days, my favorite moments are the ones spent with my family.
I’ve lived in 4 other states and even spent a year in Australia, so I’ve learned a lot about adapting to new places and new seasons of life.
My background in environmental science keeps me curious about the natural world, and Colorado gives me plenty to explore.
