CREATED FOR CONNECTION
COUPLES WORKSHOP/COURSE
Are you looking to enrich a healthy relationship, revitalize a tired one, or rescue one gone awry? Do you yearn to grow closer to God, and to further incorporate Him and His teachings into your marriage? We all want a lifetime of love, support, and faith. But sometimes we need a little help. What is the new science of LOVE? LOVE is exquisitely logical and part of our survival mechanism. The necessity for connection is the most basic need of human beings. We all need LOVE (safe, secure connection) from cradle to grave. The epidemics we see of depression, anxiety, divorce are due in large part to emotional starvation.
Come explore the new science of LOVE and
- Address stuck patterns and negative cycles
- Make sense of your own emotions
- Learn more about your partner’s inner world
- Overcome loneliness
- Repair and forgive emotional injuries
- Deepen your emotional, physical and sexual connection
- Communicate to develop deeper understanding and closeness
What to Expect
You will learn how to understand and improve your relationship through presentations by the workshop leader, with private exercises and conversations with your partner, and by watching video demonstrations of other couples. The Hold Me Tight© couples workshop is based on Dr. Sue Johnson’s research and book Created for Connection Hold Me Tight for Christian Couples – Seven Conversations for a Lifetime of Love. (We strongly suggest that you read Created for Connection prior to attending the workshop.)
Couples will be able to work with each other and practice material learned with as assistance from facilitator.
There is no pressure to share with the group, and all practice work will be with your partner. We have full use of our counseling center during this time and you will have your own space as a couple to work through the material.
*Created for Connection workshops are not for couples in extreme distress; this would include current abuse, active addiction, or current/ongoing infidelity. Please contact our office for counseling specific to these situations.

LUNCH HOUR NADA SPECIAL
(ON HOLD DUE TO COVID 19)
2nd Wednesday of the month
11:00am – 12:00pm
Starting March 11th
Ashley Brown MA, LPC, RYT is our NADA specialist.
What is NADA?
NADA is a five-point ear acupuncture protocol that has been known to assist people with anxiety, depression, addiction and sleep. The five point system corresponds to five different aspects of our body systems including our sympathetic nervous system, Shenmen or Spirit, Kidney, Liver, and Lung. Read more about it (HERE)
This process is 30-45 minutes, where you can receive all or some of the five needles in the ear and enjoy some relaxing quiet time with aromatherapy and soft music in the background. Individuals are encouraged to sit in silence, rest their eyes if they feel comfortable and allow the points to assist in creating healing and relaxation. Many people experience a balancing effect where they find themselves relaxed if they are experiencing anxiety or more energized if struggling with feelings of depression. If you have more questions or would like to schedule a stand alone NADA session, contact Ashley Brown at 720-370-3010 ext. 107 or via email at ashleybrown.lpc@gmail.com.
