Hello!
My passion is to cultivate safe spaces for all ages and backgrounds, that empowers, equips, and encourages growth. I see counseling as a sacred journey and for those who are brave enough to dig deep and dig in, the reward is waiting on the other side. My hope is to be a guide on that path to freedom.
I am currently working as an intern as I am finishing my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University, based out of Lynchburg, Virginia. I attended the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado having received my Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science. Upon graduating and commissioning as an officer in the United States Air Force, I had the opportunity to work with many diverse workforce cultures, to include the England’s Royal Air Force, Okinawa’s foreign nationals, and the Qatari military. For each of my assignments, I also had the opportunity to lead, mentor, and advise 200+ individuals through cultural workplace differences, marital relation issues, alcoholic addictions, suicidal ideations, and trauma experienced both physically and mentally. In my most recent two years of service I worked in Japan and Qatar as a sexual assault victim advocate, having provided counseling and medical/legal referral services to over 80 sexual assault survivors, both male and female. My heart for those who have suffered unfathomable abuse is that they can once again see the beauty in everyday life and walk confidently knowing the best is yet to come.
As for my hobbies outside of work, I love to explore nature, be with my husband, and play board games with my family.
